This adapter is designed for Tesla Model S, 3, X and Y vehicles with a NACS charging port. It is not compatible with Cybertruck or Tesla vehicles with Type 2 or GB/T charging ports. Check your vehicle’s charging port before ordering.
No. This adapter is designed for Type 2 AC charging equipment and vehicles with a GB/T AC charging inlet. It does not support DC fast charging, including CCS2 chargers and Tesla Superchargers.
Yes, provided your Tesla is compatible and the charging equipment operates within the adapter’s electrical ratings. The adapter works with J1772 AC wall chargers and portable EV chargers. A portable EV charger is still required when charging from a household outlet; the adapter cannot plug directly into the outlet.
Check that both connections are fully seated and that your vehicle is ready to charge. A charging schedule or a reached charge limit may prevent charging from starting immediately.
At a public station, you may also need to activate the session through the operator’s app, card reader or payment system. Check the vehicle and station for error messages. If the issue continues, contact the station operator or QIAO with the charger details, vehicle model and error message.
The adapter is rated IP55, protecting against dust ingress and water jets. It is not designed for immersion in water.
Keep disconnected contacts clean and dry, inspect the adapter for damage before use, and store it in a dry place when not in use. Follow the product manual for outdoor operating conditions.
